The streets were illuminated by fairy lights and the boutiques exuberant with end-year festivities. My eyes moved hungrily from one mannequin to another, as if taking mental pictures of all the elaborate isarees/i and iangrakhas/i on display./divdiv style="text-align: justify;"As I walked further into the lanes, I discovered bKhazana India/b. The store houses Bollywood kitsch at its ifilmy/i best. It's one thing to own a Bollywood inspired bags quite another to find vintage posters of movies that are probably twice as old as you are. In fact, the store ensures you stumble upon vintage stamps, glasses, postcards and tin boxes in the process. It's the kind of store that inspires you to set your own house up and take all its artefacts with you./divAt the end of the village stands the bHauz Khas Fort/b. This is where the lines of culture finally blur into history.
