I made a tube of jersey to add but alternatively you could add a ready madenbsp;colorednbsp;tube skirt and just alter it to fit the zip in your skirt if it has one.nbsp;/divbr /a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/66755335@N05/6801436871/" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;" title="neoninsert by apairandaspare, on Flickr"img alt="neoninsert" height="480" src="http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7012/6801436871_cf3fd889f0_z.jpg" width="640" //abr /br /bYou need:/bbr /- A white lace mini skirt (a href="http://www.ebay.com/itm/190-Reiss-Savannah-White-LACE-Mini-SKIRT-OTTOMAN-2-UK6-/150745879646?pt=US_CSA_WC_Skirtsamp;hash=item23192 7945e#ht_8893wt_932"here/a or a href="http://www.asos.com/countryid/1/ASOS/ASOS-Flippy-Mini-Skirt-in-Lace/Prod/pgeproduct.aspx?iid=2009404amp;cid=2639amp;sh=0amp ;pge=1amp;pgesize=20amp;sort=-1amp;clr=Mintamp;MID=35718amp;affid=2134amp;siteID =0RpXOIXA500-cVT5Ema2EfTu1BsLu1FBSQ"here/a). Lay the skirt over the top of the jersey fabric to work out how long you need the tube skirt.br /2. Cut out the fabric in the shape of the skirt, cutting a piece that is double the hip width of the skirt (so you can fold it in half and sew one seam to create a tube).br /3. Fold the fabric in half.br /4. Sew the edges together to create a tube - you can hand or machine sew. There will probably be a zip somewhere in your lace skirt - back or side, so nbsp;leave an opening in the seam of your tube for the zip.br /5.nbsp;nbsp;Put the skirt on and slip the tube over the top of the lining but under the lace -nbsp;orientating the seam of the jersey tube to the seam of the zipbr /6. Push the tube carefully between the fabric all the way to the edges of the waistband and zip and pin in place. You want none of the original lining to be showing through.br /7. Take the skirt off and carefully hand stitch the coloured jersey lining in place along the waistband and down the sides of the zip.br /br /Voila! You should have completely covered the original lining with the coloured tube skirt. I didn't have much problem with riding up of the jersey lining - make your tube skirt quite tight to stop this happening.br /br /div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/66755335@N05/6789327911/" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;" title="laceskirt by apairandaspare, on Flickr"img alt="laceskirt" height="480" src="http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7012/6789327911_b09ece21ef_z.jpg" width="640" //a/divdiv class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/66755335@N05/6789333447/" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;" title="laceskirt2 by apairandaspare, on Flickr"img alt="laceskirt2" height="480" src="http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7151/6789333447_cd839a5be3_z.jpg" width="640" //a/divdiv class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"/divbr /div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"/divdiv style="text-align: justify;"And you're done! You can wear this skirt a few times like this, and then remove the coloured lining or replace with another colour afterwards. Talk about making your clothes work for you rather than the other way around./divdiv style="text-align: justify;"br //divdiv class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/66755335@N05/6804080869/" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;" title="skirtflickrs1 by apairandaspare, on Flickr"img alt="skirtflickrs1" src="http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7008/6804080869_a2f97d71d6_b.jpg" width="640" //a/divdiv class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"br //divdiv class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"Inspiration images via a href="http://blog.sassandbide.com/"Sass amp; Bide/a and a href="http://himys.com/"How I Met Your Style/a/divdiv class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"br //divdiv class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"Follow via a href="http://www.bloglovin.com/en/blog/1735844/a-pair-amp-a-spare"Bloglovin/a | a href="http://www.facebook.com/pages/A-Pair-A-Spare/126034164117853?v=wall"Facebook/a | a href="http://twitter.com/#%21/apairandaspare"Twitter/a/divdiv class="blogger-post-footer"img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/8784775234411105189-1719926887370187931?l=apair-andaspare.blogspot.com' alt='' //div
